It’s a surreal moment. Those who remember me as The NeverEnding Story’s Childlike Empress will meet me again 40 years later as the Witch. Spoiler alert — I’m not 10 years old anymore!
Audiences will laugh and root for my husband Greg Steinbruner, who plays the Goatherd and wrote the script. They’ll be entranced by our daughter Maya as the mystical cupid-like character. Acting beside Christopher Lloyd as The Alchemist and Sean Astin as the Dog has been an honor and a delight.
I have treasured being able to connect with you along the way. As you know many seemingly impossible tasks sprung up to block our path. One after another our community helped conjure up magic to vanquish them.
The battle is just beginning. We have 2 magical days in theaters to show big cinema that original fantasy films still deserve a place in the spotlight. Will you join me, magick friend?

I did not know I could have bought tickets here! We just went and saw this today with our 17 year old son and 27 year old daughter and absolutely LOVED it!! Thank you for the fun and informative intro at the beginning and for introducing us to the amazing world of The Contented Kingdom. We all loved every single thing about this film. It was and epic 80's fantasy right here in 2024!! <3 <3
